CESCY (Circular Economy – Sustainable Competencies for Youth) project aims to connect youth work and youth to circular economy and sustainability.
The aim of this training is to engage youth workers and leaders in the circular economy field through the competence framework we have developed and train them on how to use it in their daily work with youth. CESCY competence framework for circular economy and sustainability describes a set of knowledge, skills and attitudes to promote in youth work for youth to lead the circular economy transition.
During this event we would like to:
- Reflect on the role of youth workers in the circular economy.
- Train youth workers on how to support young people regarding the circular economy and its needed competencies.
- Learn, feedback and share non formal learning approaches and methods to implement the circular economy competencies framework in youth work.
- Create a network of youth workers addressing the circular economy and sustainability transition through youth work and non formal education.
The training is held in Almuñécar (Andalucia), Spain from 15th to 20th of May 2022, where 15th is the arrival day and 20th is the departure day.
The costs for accommodation and food will be covered for all participants. Furthermore, if accepted you would be eligible for travel reimbursement up to 275 euro.
