Hi!! We are Fleur, Jana, Kayzan and Leanne, and we are this year’s Activity Committee! We would like to introduce you to the amazing team that organised those incredible activities for you this year.
Heyhey! My name is Fleur, I’m 23 years old and I’m the chairwoman of AcCie. I’m in my third year of my bachelor’s degree in Nutrition. In my free time, I like to bake, go out with friends and read! And, of course, I also like to travel which is a good thing, since I’m going to Africa for my minor this year! I’m glad that I joined the AcCie, we are a fun bunch and I enjoy every second of it!
Hi! My name is Jana and I’m the secretary of AcCie. I live in Groningen with my boyfriend and our 70 houseplants. I like to go to parties and festivals mostly with drum and bass music. I started reading a lot of English fiction during the pandemic and it’s now a really big hobby. I study real estate at the Hanze and I’m in my second year. I joined the AcCie this year and I really enjoy it!
Hi there! My name is Kayzan and I’m the treasurer of AcCie. I’m nineteen years old. I’m currently in the second year of my bachelor’s in Business Administration at the University of Groningen. What I like to do in my free time is go out and try different restaurants in the city to compensate for my lack of talent in the kitchen! Other than that, my hobbies include visiting new cities, playing the cello and going to concerts! This is my first year in AcCie and also in AEGEE-Groningen, and so far it has been an amazing and gratifying experience planning different activities for my fellow AEGEE-Groningen members to enjoy!
Hi friends!! My name is Leanne and I am the PR-Responsible of AcCie. I’m twenty-one years old. Right now I’m finishing my Media Studies bachelor’s at the University of Groningen. I am finally back in Groningen after moving back home for the past year, and boy have I missed all the AEGEE parties! In my free time, I love to play the guitar and the ukulele. I also started playing the piano a little with the help of some YouTube videos! I mostly play Taylor Swift songs though, which might not be a surprise because most of you know that she is my favourite artist! That is also the reason why I am never allowed to be in control of the music at parties. Sigh… my friends don’t realise what they are missing out on!
We hope we have entertained you this year with our Sinterklaas activity, Musical Bingo, European Night, Silent Disco Party, our amazing Day Activity, the Gotcha Games, and the Uithoekenfeest!!
